Frequently Asked Questions
The importance of making a commitment to your homeopathic treatment by attending regular follow-up appointments can not be underestimated.
What happens during my first appointment and how long will it take?
Allow a minimum of an hour and a half for your first appointment. During this appointment we will discuss your current health concerns as well as your past medical history and family history. It is really important to get a good understanding of your symptom picture in order to find the homeopathic remedy that most closely matches your symptoms.
How long will my follow-up appointment be?
Allow up to one hour for your follow-up appointment.
How often will I need to see my Homeopath?
The frequency of follow-up appointments is very individual and will vary from weeks to months depending on the response to the homeopathic remedy. An illness of long-standing duration is likely to take longer to improve whereas acute ailments generally respond much quicker to homeopathic treatment.
I encourage regular email contact to monitor progress.
Do I need to do anything to prepare for my appointment?
It would be helpful if you are able to download and complete the client history and consent form - found on the International Grace website. You can either email the form directly to me or bring it to your first appointment. Alternatively this can be completed at your first appointment.
Will I need to stop taking medication prescribed by my GP?
Homeopathic remedies can be taken along side prescription medication. Prescription medication should only be adjusted or stopped under the direction of a GP.
